‘F**k Boris’ - Outrage after Stormzy turns Glastonbury crowd on Conservatives

STORMZY controversially riled up Glastonbury fans, causing them to chant “f**k the Government, f**k Boris” during his historic headline set.

Performing his hit ‘Vossi Bop’, the massive crowd sang the inflammatory profanities aimed at Tory leadership hopeful Boris Johnson. The 25-year-old became the first black British solo artist to top the bill at the festive since it started in 1970. He described his emotion while on stage.

He told the crowd: "This is the greatest night of my entire life.

"And we're only getting started, I promise you that."

During the performance, which was shown on the BBC, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin joined him on stage.

Rappers Dave and Fredo also made an appearance.

Following his performance on the Pyramid Stage, fans were quick to praise the Croydon-born grime star.

Nik Fisher, 28, from east London, said: "It was insane. It was out of this world. He did so well.

“The vibe and energy was incredible so we're really happy about it. We saw him two years ago as well, it was definitely a level up from that. It was unbelievable."

Jordain Edwards, 23, from south London, said: "I've seen him about five or six times before. I think the first time I saw him was eight years ago when I was about 16 or 17. So to see him now on the Pyramid Stage was insane.

"It's a moment for the whole community, the whole culture, it's crazy.

"He kind of went above and beyond what I thought he could, bringing out Dave and Fredo, it's good because it's sort of bringing everyone together. It was everything you'd hope it would have been."

Mr Johnson is the frontrunner to become the next Prime Minister ahead of rival Jeremy Hunt.

The winner will be announced on July 22.
