Tragic Aaron Carter invited a beautiful model to spend time with him in the hours leading up to his death, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
The former child star texted Sonya Cruz, 24, asking her to go to his house – even telling her he would pay for an Uber and drive her home himself.
Cruz, who has appeared in international magazines including Harper’s Bazaar and Maxim, replied she would ‘talk tomorrow after you get up.’ She signed off on the message ‘xox’ with a heart emoji.
But Carter, 34, never got up again. He was found dead in his bath on Saturday morning.

Carter admitted going to rehab four times in an interview in August, saying he felt he had finally got sobriety right. But police found several bottles of compressed air – used for huffing – in his home
'I do regret not spending more time when he would ask to,' Cruz told DailyMail.com.
'I just had no idea something like this would happen and and did think he would always be in my life,' she added.
'He was a complete angel and very kind. May he rest in peace.'
