Trains in UK Cancelled Due to the Heawave

All trains out of Kings Cross, Euston and Birmingham New Street were cancelled today as Britain's rail network ground to a halt after temperatures soared past 40C (104F).


Transport Secretary Grant Shapps today admitted the UK's infrastructure 'can't cope' with the extreme weather and said it will take 'decades' to adapt to rising temperatures caused by climate change.
